Our mission

No one should have to live without clean water.

Anchor Christian Fellowship has partnered with Filter of Hope, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides household water filters to families in need across Latin America.

This 5K sends a team of MSU students to Costa Rica in [MONTH YEAR], where they will personally deliver and set up filters in families’ homes — sharing the joy of clean water and the hope of the gospel.

Every dollar raised goes to Filter of Hope.

Getting there

The race starts and finishes at [START/FINISH LOCATION] on MSU’s campus. If you’re driving, park in [PARKING LOT / RAMP], a short walk from the start.

Questions

Can I walk the 5K?

Yes — run, jog or walk at your own pace.

Are dogs and strollers allowed?

Yes. For everyone’s safety, please start at the back of the pack.

When do I pick up my bib?

On race day, Saturday, Nov 7, starting at 8:00 AM, near the start line at [START/FINISH LOCATION].

Is this a closed course?

No. The route runs through MSU’s campus, so expect other pedestrians and cyclists, and look both ways at crosswalks.

Can I get a refund?

Because registration is a donation, we can’t offer refunds once you’ve signed up.

Where does the money go?

All proceeds go to Filter of Hope, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. A team of MSU students from Anchor Christian Fellowship will travel to Costa Rica in [MONTH YEAR] to deliver and install the filters.
